Integrations Overview
AskOro connects to 8 tools where your team stores knowledge. Each integration syncs daily to keep your search results current.
How to Connect an Integration
The process is the same for all integrations:
- Go to Integrations in your AskOro dashboard
- Click Connect next to the integration you want
- Sign in to the service and authorize AskOro
- Select which resources (workspaces, folders, repos) to sync
- Wait for the initial sync to complete (typically 5 to 15 minutes)
Tip: Start with one integration to test things out. You can add more anytime from your dashboard.
All Integrations
Confluence
Connect your Atlassian Confluence spaces to make wiki pages, documentation, and team knowledge bases searchable.
What gets synced
All pages and blog posts from spaces you select. Includes page content, comments, and attachments metadata.
Sync frequency
Daily at 6:00 AM UTC
Best for: Teams using Confluence for internal documentation, product specs, and company wikis.
GitHub
Index your GitHub repositories to search through README files, documentation, issues, pull requests, and discussions.
What gets synced
README files, markdown documentation, issue titles and bodies, PR descriptions, and discussion threads from selected repositories.
Sync frequency
Daily at 6:00 AM UTC
Best for: Engineering teams who store documentation in repos, track decisions in issues, or use GitHub Discussions.
Google Drive
Make your Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and PDFs searchable. AskOro extracts text content from all supported file types.
What gets synced
Document content from Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, and text files. Respects your existing Drive sharing permissions.
Sync frequency
Daily at 6:00 AM UTC
Best for: Teams using Google Workspace who have documents, meeting notes, and resources stored in Drive.
Jira
Search across Jira issues, epics, and project documentation. Find past decisions, bug reports, and feature requests.
What gets synced
Issue summaries, descriptions, comments, and custom fields from projects you select. Includes epics, stories, tasks, and bugs.

Daily at 6:00 AM UTC
Best for: Product and engineering teams who track work in Jira and want to search historical tickets.
Microsoft Teams
Index conversations from Microsoft Teams channels to make team discussions searchable.
What gets synced
Messages from channels you select. Includes message content and replies. Does not index private chats or 1:1 conversations.

Best for: Organizations using Microsoft 365 who want to search through team channel history.
Notion
Connect Notion workspaces to search across pages, databases, and wikis. One of the fastest integrations to set up.
What gets synced
Page content, database entries, and nested subpages from workspaces and pages you grant access to.
Sync frequency
Daily at 6:00 AM UTC
Best for: Teams using Notion for wikis, project docs, meeting notes, or company handbooks.
OneDrive
Search through files stored in OneDrive and SharePoint. Supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files.
What gets synced
Text content from Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and PDFs in selected folders.
Sync frequency
Daily at 6:00 AM UTC
Best for: Microsoft 365 organizations with documents and resources stored in OneDrive or SharePoint.
Slack Messages
Index your Slack channel history to search past conversations, decisions, and shared knowledge.
What gets synced
Messages from public channels you select. Includes message content and thread replies. Private channels and DMs are never indexed.
Sync frequency
Daily at 6:00 AM UTC
Best for: Teams who make decisions in Slack and want to search through channel history.
Privacy and Permissions
AskOro respects the access controls of each integration:
- We only access resources you explicitly grant permission to
- Private or restricted content is never indexed without authorization
- You can disconnect any integration at any time from your dashboard
- When you disconnect, all synced data from that integration is removed from AskOro
